WIRELESS TELECOM TAXATION CALCULATIONS

Sherpa’s Wireless Telecom Taxation Calculation is a Web Service module that can be referenced by external applications to provide:

• Lookup of tax Geocode mappings by zip code
• Indicate in/out of county boundaries
• Lookup of the tax Geocode by NPA or NPA/NXX
• Determine validation of NPA/NXX for ZIP code (ancillary)
• Create monthly remittance support files
• Calculate monthly recurring telecom taxation charge (known as E911 tax)
• Calculate call-based Telecom tax charges (tax on intrastate or interstate toll calls)
• Calculate service-based Telecom tax charges (flat rate, plan, service)
• Calculate sales tax charges (taxes on equipment sales)
